will be presenting Argentine Tango workshops and private individual lessons in Modesto


Eight Mondays in
September & October, 2007
Sept. 10 : Patterns and figures in close embrace. Links and connection. Double time and musicality (first part)
Sept 17 : Patterns and figures in close embrace. Links and connection. Double time and musicality (second part)
Sept 24: Resources for the dance floor. Maintaining the line of dance. Simple combinations for fluidity.

Oct 1: Open and close embrace. Pauses. Sacadas from different positions.
Oct. 8: Turns and voleos.
Oct. 15: Figures with turns, voleos, stops and embellishments.
Oct. 22 : Milonga 1 from the beginning, rhythm, basic steps, embrace.
Oct. 29: Milonga 2 Easy and playful patterns. Links and combinations.

 All classes: 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Teaching Philosophy:


Gato and Andrea have developed through many years of experience and work, a teaching method based on the technique of posture, balance, axes, weight changes, rhythm and especially on the tango walk, making emphasis on the interpretation of the music, and on the expression of feelings when dancing.

$30.00 - 1 or 2 Workshops

$27.00 - 3 or 4 Workshops
$25.00 - 5 or 6 Workshops
$22.00 - 7 or 8 Workshops

$100.00/per hour + $10.00 Studio Fee - Private lessons
