Join our First Friday milonga for an evening of dancing and socializing at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Kenny Bell & Chooi Goh who were so well liked, return to Studio V with classes at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  It's $15 for one class, $25 for both and with either the next week's class is included.

MONDAY -  Today,  Oct 28 & Nov. 4. Practica and social dancing at Jacobs, 7-9 p.m.  A good place to work on class material and socialize with fellow tangueros.  No fee, but you are encouraged to order food or drink off the menu.  Some come early to eat.

 

WEDNESDAY - Oct. 30 & Nov. 6,  Senior Center classes cancelled until Nov. 13 to refurbish the floor, 211 Bodem. 2:30 p.m., free.

 

FRIDAY - Nov. 1, First Friday Milonga, Jacobs Fine Dining, 2501 McHenry, 8 p.m. $5.  Come early to dine or enjoy a fashionably late meal, dance and socialize.

 

SATURDAY - Nov. 2 - Classes with Kenny Bell & Chooi Goh at Studio V Fitness & Pilates,  4345 Spyres, off Bangs.   11 a.m. & 12:30 p.m..   $15 for one class , $25 for both.  The price of the classes will also cover the subsequent week's follow-up class.

Peter Baldridge worked with Ochos as seen in different styles of tango.  We continue to work on those next Saturday, and again,   if you came to one or both lessons, the cost of the this week's class is included in the fee. If not, it's a $10 drop in fee.  A first Friday milonga comes up Nov. 1 at Jacobs; mark your calendar.

Saturday, Oct. 26 - Tango by the River, 128 J Street, Old Sacramento: Calling all ghouls, goblins, gypsies, witches, warlocks, and werewolves (and anything else you can think of!) It's that time again! Time for the annual Halloween Tango Ball! Costumes are encouraged (never required)! And you're going to love the Grand Prize: Free attendance at the workshops with Liz & Yannick Vanhove, the 2012 European Stage and Salon Tango Champions! They will be teaching here Nov. 8-10, 2013! Traditional tango f 9 p.m.- midnight; then alternative midnight to 1 or 2 a.m. (or so!). Cost is $10! See you for a spookalicious night!


Thursday, Oct. 31 at Tango By the River: "Haunted Casino Milonga!" 7-10 p.m. Your $20 gets you $1000 in casino chips  The most chips at the end of the night win a private lesson with guest MAESTROS LIZ and YANNICK VANHOVE (2012 European Stage & Salon Tango Champions, coming to Tango by the River Nov.  8-10. Come in costume and get an extra $500 in chips!
