8:30 p.m. - Midnight - Dancing to a great selection of Argentine Tango music.
10 p.m. - Performance by Gato and Andrea.

Cost: Introductory Lesson and Milonga: $10.
Milonga only: $5 whether you come to dance or just to enjoy the dancing while you eat, this is a great opportunity to see a world class performance of Argentine Tango.

Sean and Charity began their rotation in our new schedule, working on musicality. The supervised "practica" - went well. They will be with us for two weeks.


CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK

MONDAY - Tonight. March 10 & 17: Practica and social dancing at Jacobs,
2501 McHenry. A chance to work on moves learned in class and to get floor time.
For those attending the Tuesday night workshop this is a great opportunity to work on the moves before the next workshop. No fee, but you are urged to order off the menu. We start about 8 p.m. An informal meeting; some come early to dine. We may dance till 9:30 p.m. See Monday at Jacobs.

TUESDAY - (March 11) - Tomorrow, we continue workshops with Gato & Andrea. Our Video of the Week features a summary of last Tuesday's lesson. The schedule for the workshops follows below.
Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club, 200 Norwegian. Intermediate level and above. Interpreting Pugliese is the theme for this Tuesday. 8 to 9:30

FRIDAY - (March 14) - Milonga at Jacobs restaurant with Gato & Andrea. See above for more information

SATURDAY (March 15) - Classes at Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club with Sean & Charity teaching. 200 Norwegian, off McHenry.
11 a.m.-noon. ( New schedule ) Beginner level
Intermediates encouraged to come at no additional fee for a chance to perfect technique.
Noon-1 p.m. Intermediate
1-1:45 p.m. Guided practica - An opportunity to just dance, putting into practice what was taught in class, with instructor on hand to help.
Class: $12 per person. Practica only, $5 per person (free with class).
Introductory deals for newcomers offer 10 beginner level classes for $75 (can only be used at the beginner level.)

Class 3: Feb. 19 - D´Arienzo - simple & double beats.Embellishments.
Class 4: Feb. 26 - Biaggi, Changes of rhythm and resolutions.
Class 5: March 4 - (Last Week ) Pugliese - musicality.

Class 6: March 11 - (Tomorrow) Style. Introduction to cross system and double time. Changes of front. Patterns for the social dance.
Class 7: March 18 - Vals (intermediate and above) Cross system and double time. Turns and musicality.
Class 8: March 25th - Vals (intermediate and up) Walks, displacements turns with syncopation. Alterations. Open embrace.
Fees :
1 or 2 workshops $30 each per person
3 or 4 workshops $27 each,
5 or 6 workshops $25 each
7 or 8 workshops $22 each per person

The cost for classes and practica is $50 per person/$90 per couple for the month; Drop-in rate is $15 . The practica alone is $5.
This class and práctica is for students with a broad range of levels: we recommend specific clearance from Ed and Rebeca.

There are nine people already registered and three to four spots left.
$1650 for people who register between March 1st and April 30th.

How to register

1. Fill in the registration form, sent to each person who requests it by e-mail to us montitango@hotmail.com

2. For people who registered by February 29, 2nd payment: $600 in cash before Gato & Andrea leave (last day March 25th).
3rd payment: $500 up to June 10th by deposit in Gato & Andrea's City Bank account.
If any of you want to pay the two fees together during their stay,( that is to say $1100 dollars), you are also welcome to do it.

3. If registered after February 28 (Late Registration $1650 per person)
Deposit: $1000 up to April 30th - Balance payment: $650 up to june 10th by bank deposit to Gato and Andrea
