A little more excitement in our tango community this week. Besidee our Monday practica at Jacobs and regular classes Saturday at the Racquet Club, on Thursday we gather for our monthly Art Walk milonga at Concetta's.
CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK
MONDAY - Tonight, June 15 & 22, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs, 8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material. ALL levels encouraged. No fee, but you're urged to buy food and/or drink. Come early to eat.
THURSDAY _June 18, Art Walk milonga, at Concettas, 1205 J Street, 7 to 9 p.m. We dance, socialize, eat & drink fine wine as people walk past the window from gallery to gallery.
SATURDAY - June 20, regular classes at Modesto Fitness & Racquet Club,
200 Norwegian, Peter teaching.
Beginner level 11 a.m. to noon, Supervised practica until 12:15
Intermediate level: 12:15 - 1:15 p.m. - Supervised practica to 2 p.m.,$12 a lesson, intermediates encouraged to do both at no extra fee, work on technique and be there for beginners. Practica, $5, included in lesson. Introductory packages available one time only for $75, include nine lessons, only usable at the beginner level.
