Patrick worked us on more boleos while the beginners practiced their walk, perhaps the most important element in tango.  Thursday is our Art Walk milonga at Concetta's.  This is a nice, informal venue; let's all be there (poster below)


                                                                

CALENDAR FOR THE  WEEK

MONDAY - Tonight,  Feb.16 & 23, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs,
8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  ALL levels encouraged.  No fee, but you are urged to order food and/or drink off the menu.  Come early to eat.

THURSDAY -  FEB 19, Art Walk Milonga at  Concetta's, 1205 J Street.  7 to 9 p.m.  Come meet, socialize, have a glass of wine or something to eat, and dance.

SATURDAY -Feb. 21 - Ongoing classes at Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club , 200 Norwegian Avenue.  -
11 a.m. - noon Beginning Level, Newcomers encouraged.
Noon to 12:15 p.m.- supervised practica
12:15-1:15 p.m. Intermediate  level - 1:15 - 2 p.m. Another supervised practica.
$12 per class drop in.  Introductory package of 9 lessons $75 - one time offer and usable only at the beginner level.
