Saturday's class focused on barridas.  Peter plans to work on vals and milonga in the weeks to come. Thursday is Art Walk night, and our art walk milonga at Concetta's.

 CALENDAR FOR THE  WEEK

MONDAY - Tonight,  September 15 & 22, Social dancing and practica  at Jacobs, 8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue.  A good place to practice class material.  No fee, but you are encouraged to order food and/or drink off the menu.  Some go early to eat.

THURSDAY - Art walk Milonga at Concetta's.  1205 J Street., 7 p.m.  This event takes place every 3rd Thursday, to coincide with the night the art galleries remain open so that people can walk from one to the other.

FRIDAY - At The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Stanislasus County, 2172 Kiernan Ave.  7 - 9 p.m. Mary will teach a 6 week series of introductory level tango
Partner not necessary; men especially  encouraged to attend. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, leather-soled shoes with a back support -- you will dance backwards.
Dates: Fridays, Sept 19 & 26; Oct 3, Oct. 10, 17, 24  Fee: $3 suggested per session
 
SATURDAY - Sept.20 - Classes with Peter at Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club, 200 Norwegian Avenue.  
11 a.m. Beginner level ,        noon intermediate level,        1-1:45 p.m. guided practica
$12 per class.  Introductor  packages of 9 beginner level lessons for $75 available.
