Patrick agreed to extend his rotations a week, so we will see him again Saturday (August 23). There will be no classes on Labor Day weekend (August 30). MONDAY - Tonight, August 18 & 25, Practica at Jacobs, Social dancing 2501 McHenry Ave. An informal chance to work on moves learned in class and get floor time. No fee, but you're urged to order off the menu. We start about 8 p.m.; some come early to dine. We may dance until 9:30 p.m.
THURSDAY - August 21 - Art Walk Milonga at Concetta's Restaurant, 1205 J Street. People walking from art gallery to art gallery get a glimpse of us dancing at Concetta's. We can order good food, fine wine and dance from 7 to 9 p.m.
SATURDAY - August 23 - Classes at Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club, 200 Norwegian Avenue, Patrick teaching. Tango Basics 11 a.m. Continuing Tango at noon. Practica from 1 to 1:45 p.m. $12 per class. Intermediates invited to the beginner class at no additional charge to work on technique and be there for beginners. Also available for beginners is an introductory kit offering 9 classes for $75. Only usable at the beginner level.
