Kenny Bell gave us some detailed technique work on the basic walk as well as the parada in the second class. We will continue to work on those concepts next week.  In This Week's Video Kenny summarizes the lesson on paradas.

Then, we encourage as many of you as can make it to check out the tango festival in Millbrae, which includes the competition that will send the US champion to Buenos Aires to compete in the world cup - that is on Easter weekend. Go to  Argentine Tango Usa for more information.

On the first weekend of April we will be hosting workshops with Sergio Martin Almiron, who placed 6th in Buenos Aires, and is considered by many to be the best teacher in the US, partnered by Yumiko Krupevina. They will lead a couple of classes. The first one, for all levels covering some tango basics , the second class at 12:30 at a more intermediate level.

We have a venue for private lessons this time, so please let me know if you are interested. There are not too many slots so get yours while you can.

Until later, Mary
