Christopher returns on Saturday, August 19 for another couple of lessons. The first one at 11 am will focus on basics of walking, lead/follow, and musicality. The second class, starts at 12:30 and will be at a more intermediate level If you missed his lesson on Saturday Aug. 5, you certainly don't want to miss him again on Aug 19. Cost of one class $15, both classes $25.

WEDNESDAY: August 16 at 2:45 p.m. class at Modesto Senior Center, 211 Bodem Avenue focusing on tango basics. 2:45 / 3:45. No fee. Beginning September, these classes will begin at 2:30
SATURDAY: August 19, Class at studio V. 4345 Spyres Ave., with Christopher . 11 am all levels, 12:30 intermediate. $15 for one class, $25 for both.

MILONGAS
Our next milonga will be coordinated with the fundraising event put on by the Parent Resource Center at Seasons on McHenry, on Friday, Sept. 22 which will include a performance by Tango del Cielo. We will dance from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. The performance will be at 8 pm. Tickets have not yet gone on sale. I will notify you when they do

The Dance Corner, 2927 Fulton Ave, Weekly Friday classes from 7pm to 8pm (still $10 per class) followed by a Práctica from 8pm to 9pm to have more continuous floor time. The Práctica is free to class participants, or only $3 by itself.

COMING UP
In September, Tango champion, Marcelo Molina returns to Modesto to conduct a couple of workshops.
Marcelo from Cordoba Argentina took first place in the USA tango championship, stage division for two years running. He has been traveling all over the US performing and conducting workshops, and will be dancing with the Bay Area group Tango Del Cielo at a fundraising event. We will have a chance to dance socially at this event at the Seasons on McHenry, eat tapas and drink wine and watch their performance all for the price of a ticket. More information will be coming
