Last Saturday we had another wonderful class with Jean-Pierre Sighe.  He again spent a good deal of time working on "the walk" - and finished with more work on the 'media vuelta"  As a founding member along with Fecundo Posadas of ART (African Roots in Tango), and a musician,  he has a lot of historical information about Tango Music, as well as a deep understanding of the musicality - which will be the topic of his next visit.Next Saturday (Feb. 7) there is no class as the studio is being used in a special Aerial Yoga Teacher Certification.

So our next class at the studio will be Feb. 14

Until then we will have to count on Jacobs on Monday and the Wednesday lessons to get our tango fix.

In late February we have Eva & Pablo back, practitioners of traditional close embrace milonguero style.  They will do a couple of workshops on Milonga.  Take advantage of this opportunity to work on this fun rhythm so you don't have to sit out a milonga tanda at a milonga.

In March we have a return of the Redwood Tango Ensemble.    So much to look forward to - stay tuned.

For those of you who have asked about where to find tango shoes, Mr. Tango is in the Bay Area, and will be in Castro Valley selling shoes.

Until later, Mary
