Marcelo Solis, milonguero, dancer, choreographer and instructor, started at age 20 and has not stopped. He specialized in traditional tango music from the 1930s and '40s. He teaches Buenos Aires styles, focused on connections between partners and music with exercises and explanations to better understand the fundamentals. He has taught and performed in Argentina, USA, Canada and Europe. Now based in San Francisco, he returns to Buenos Aires several times a year to teach and perform at major milongas like Salon Canning, Confiteria Ideal, Nuevo Chique and Cachirulo.
