Modesto Tango Bulletin, Dec. 5, 2011
We have the opportunity to look at two videos this week.
The first video shows renowned milongeros Osvaldo y Coca dancing in a social setting.  The second shows how they dance during an exposition.  There is an interesting article discussing the differences in the Tango Voice blog,  <http://tangovoice.wordpress.com/2010/07/06/milongueros-dancing-tango-in-the-milongas-of-buenos-aires/>Tango Voice

Registration for the Argentine Tango Festival and official competition in April  has  begun. An early bird special is available until Feb. 23 for festival and competition. http://www.argentinetangousa.com/registration-prices. A new video has festival organizers Gato & Andrea dancing at a milonga in Los Altos:  <http://modestotango.blogspot.com/search/label/VOW>This Week's Video.
