Modesto Tango Bulletin, August 23, 2010

Classes will resume on the Saturday after Labor Day, Sept. 11, with Peter beginning a six-week series meant to get the beginners up and running, culminating with a car pool to a milonga or practilonga in Sacramento or the Bay Area.

Our October milonga will be the year's premier tango event. The Mario Parmisano Trio of Buenos Aires tours the world playing tango music with top jazz musicians. Check out their videos. Their most recent promotional is our Video of the Week.

Don't miss tonight's practica at Jacobs. It is a great opportunity to experience tango in an informal, friendly, and supportive setting.

MONDAY - 7 p.m. tonight, August 23 & 30, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs Fine Dining, 2501 McHenry. Currently Modesto's only tango outlet. No fee, but you're encouraged to order food or drink off the menu. A good place to practice class material. Come early to eat; check out a new menu for the "Blue Sage Bistro".

SATURDAY - No class. Classes resume September 11 with Peter teaching.
Fee will be $75 for the six week series plus the milonga, or $12 drop-in fee.
