Break down essential concepts of tango for better comprehension. Attain a higher learning curve and gain the ability to self correct as you uncover technical elements within the fundamentals. the quality of the movement in the basic steps and well-known sequences of
tango such as ochos cortados, half turns, drags, etc.
4:30-6 VILLA URQUIZA STYLE TANGO (Intermediate-Advanced). This old school neighborhood of Buenos Aires exemplifies a quality of dance recognized for elegance and virtuosity. Villa Urquiza is not to show off fancy figures. It is about finding an entrancing connection with your partner and dancing with musicality and grace. We will work to find comfort, elegance, clarity in the lead, sensitivity in the follow and confidence. This class  will focus on turns. This is not one more class of turning around a chair. You'll learn the elements you need to improve balance, control of direction and dynamics for a more graceful movement.
