What's New

Bulletin, August 24, 2009 -

We had our first summer practica at our new location, Juline's School of Dance, 144 Woodrow - suite E, at Woodrow and McHenry behind the India Bistro.  The energy level was good, and the studio is air conditioned.  These practicas have been well received, so we will try to do one every month, so our instructors will essentially have a full month to themselves.  We will meet  one more time, next Saturday - August 29 before breaking for Labor Day, after which we resume regular classes at 11 a.m. starting with Sean and Charity in September

MONDAY - Tonight,  August 24 & 31,  Social dancing and practica at Jacobs,
8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  ALL levels encouraged.  No fee, but you're urged to buy food and/or drink.  Come early to eat.

SATURDAY - August 29,  2nd and final practica before classes resume at Juline's School of Dance, beginning with warm up exercises at 10 a.m., a chance to  share favorite moves and a short introductory class for absolute beginners. 144 Woodrow Ave.. $5 to cover club fees.  Regular classes will resume after Labor Day.
