What's New

Bulletin, July 20, 2009 -

They say there's no substitute for floor time. That's what summer practicas give us.  With a short introductory class for absolute beginners and a fee reduced to just cover use of the facility, those who wonder if tango is for them get a chance to find out. Our Modesto Fitness & Racquet Club time nears an end. Refurbishing the floor, they will do only in-house events,. Our next venue will be announced soon.

MONDAY - Tonight,  July 20 & 27,  Social dancing and practica at Jacobs,
8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  ALL levels encouraged.  No fee, but you're urged to buy food and/or drink.  Come early to eat.

SATURDAY - July 25,  Practica at Modesto Fitness & Racquet Club, beginning with warm up exercises at 10 a.m., and an opportunity to share favorite moves, and  a short introductory class for absolute beginners. 200 Norwegian. $5 to cover club fees.  Regular classes will resume after Labor Day.

Modesto Tango is a non-profit association of tango aficionados dedicated to sharing the artistic, cultural and social aspects of Argentine Tango in Stanislaus County. To discontinue this bulletin go to <http://groups.google.com/ group/Modesto- Tango/subscribe>
