This is tango junkies' week.  Aside from our usual Monday night practica at Jacobs,  our art walk milonga will be Thursday, March 19, warming us up for the milonga at Jacobs Saturday, March 21, with  Ney Melo & Jennifer Bratt who'll also do March 21-22 workshops . If you get no tango fix this week, you may be trying to avoid it.

CALENDAR FOR THE  WEEK

MONDAY - Tonight, March 16 & 23, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs, 8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  ALL levels encouraged.  No fee, but you're urged to buy food and/or drink.  Come early to eat.

Ney and Jennifer are dedicated to inspiring students to  tango with feeling, musicality and connection -  as it is danced in Buenos Aires. Their classes are relaxed and lively. They equally emphasize women's and men's roles, stressing technique with every step shown.

Jennifer believes contact facilitates communication profound beyond words. Emphasizing technique,  employing vivid images,  she focuses on posture, connection and musicality.  She advises followers to develop the balance between being too light and too heavy.

Ney  is known for innovative teaching methods and passion for teaching. His instruction is sought by beginning and advanced dancers,  teachers and choreographers around the world.  He  has studied tango with masters  of Villa Urquiza  tango.
