Bulletin August 27, 2007

Modesto tango activity seems to be off this week. No practica tonight, as Jacobs is hosting a jazz concert. No practica on Labor Day as Jacobs will close. We return to Jacobs in two weeks, Sept. 10,  for the next Gato & Andrea workshops.  These will be at Jacobs on Mondays, last two of eight sessions to focus on milonga. Classes will start at 7:30, giving us a chance to go in early to eat, and end at 9 p.m.,  giving us a chance to practice after the class.  More details below.

There also will be no classes on Saturday, Sept. 1 (Labor Day Weekend) - Hope to see you on Saturday, Sept. 8 when Sean and Charity will finish their rotation.

Saturday's New York Times had an article about a weekly milonga in Central Park.  Today's   Video of the Week    gives a peek at that.
