So hopefully no one did damage to their eyes looking at the eclipse today. Christopher gave us a lot of material that we will continue to work on over the next few weeks.

In September we welcome, Marcelo Molina, from Cordoba Argentina and two time Stage Tango champion in the Argentine Tango USA championship, the US branch of the Tango World Cup held every August in Buenos Aires. He has been traveling all over the US performing and conducting workshops, and will be dancing with the Bay Area group Tango Del Cielo at a fundraising event at the Seasons on McHenry, onFriday, September 22. Eat tapas, drink wine, and we will have a chance to dance socially at this event as well as watch their performance all for the price of a ticket. The next morning, Saturday, September 23, he will lead a couple of workshops.

This Sunday Chooi will be at the Dance Castle in Sonora again, 23496 Gold Springs Drive, Columbia 95310. Beginners 12 - 1 pm. Intermediate 1:15 - 2:30 pm $10 - Let's plan to car-pool up there.

Until later, Mary
