Saturday is our Gato & Andrea milonga at Jacobs, preceded by the first two of four workshops specific to our group, beginning with a women's technique class - work on embellishments ladies like, plus classes on Vals and Milonga. 12:30 - Milonga - (all levels) Rhythm and musicality. Close embrace and connection. Speed. Different walks. Easy and useful moves for the social dance, leading transfer of weight. Perhaps some traspié.

1:30 - Vals -Rhythm and musicality for vals. Specific figures in cross system. Use of the turns with syncopation for vals; double time and pauses. 1 workshop $30; 2 workshops $55; 3 or 4 workshops $25 each.

For October: Milonga con Traspie. Milonga is not as technical as tango and is much more rhythm driven. While the music may seem fast, there is less to think about. The dance is both playful and fun.
