Patrick continued his rotation by introducing the beginners to "ochos" - front and back. Saturday will end his rotation. No classes on Thanksgiving weekend. They resume Dec. 6 as Roman returns.  He will be available for private lessons. Phone him at (916) 425-2395 or e-mail: zapata@surewest.net.

CALENDAR FOR THE  WEEK

MONDAY - Tonight, Nov.17 & 24, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs, 8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  No fee, but you are urged to order food and/or drink off the menu.  Some go early to eat.

THURSDAY - Art Walk Milonga at Concetta's, 1205 J Street, 7-9 p.m..  Sociallze, eat, drink and dance. This venue gives passersby on their way from one art gallery to another a chance to see us dance and become intrigued by Argentine Tango.
 
SATURDAY - Nov. 15 - Classes with Patrick Alessandri at Modesto Fitness and Racquet Club, 200 Norwegian Avenue.  11 a.m. Beginner level, noon intermediate level, 1-1:45 p.m. guided practica $12 per class.  Practica only $5. One time only introductory packages of nine beginner level lessons for $75 available.

Sacramento - At Tango by the River, 128 J Street, Old Sacramento
New Tuesday Classes for November!
Level I - Beginning Tango - Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Level II - Intermediate Tango - Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Level III - Intermediate/Advanced Tango - Tuesdays 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Tuesday night classes taught by Donna Williams and Mark Napier.
Cost is $50 per person/$90 per couple for each series.

Focusing on specific aspects of Tango, Valz, and Milonga
This month  working on barridas and colgadas in the advanced class.
The intermediate is focusing on various applications of the barrida.
The month concludes with applications in line of dance so that all will be better equipped to expand their creative capabilities in social dance.
there is limited space and  smaller classes to give more individual attention. 
Pricing is based on the length of time purchased so 12 week cards are more cost effective than 4 week cards which are still very reasonable.

At Spotlight Center for the Arts, 2534 Industrial Blvd., Ste 150, West  Sacramento. Emily Trites  teaches Introductory  Tango 6:30-7:15 p.m, Beginning/Intermediate Tango 7:15-8 p.m 

At Step One, 1920 T Street  8:30-10:15 p.m. "La Práctica" for all levels with Mike & Alisa.  This práctica is for ALL levels and beginners are always welcome.

Every Thursday, Ed and Rebeca teach "Tango: Outside the Box": 7-8:30 p.m. (followed by a práctica 8:30-10 p.m.)
The cost  is $50 per person/$90 per couple for the month; the drop-in rate is $15. The practica alone is $5.
Students should  have first completed Levels I, II, and III of the Tuesday night or Saturday program, or have  clearance from Ed and Rebeca.
