6:00 p.m. - Doors open for Dinner

7:30 p.m. - Gato and Andrea will teach an introductory class. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of tango and to meet your fellow dancers.

8:30 p.m. - Midnight - Dancing to a great selection of traditional and new Argentine Tango Dance music.

10:30 p.m. - Performance by Gato and Andrea. Dancers and non-dancers alike will love the performance.

1 p.m. - Connection and Communication: The key to improvisation  (all levels)

2:30 - Dancing without steps or patterns (Make Tango Your Own) - Some intermediate knowledge of tango is assumed.

4 p.m. - Changes of direction and other fun move (Intermediate level)

6:30 - 9 p.m. Guided practica: get input and review technique and class material

MONDAY

 Our regular free Monday tango at Jacobs will be preceded by an introductory class by Florentino Guizar at 7 p.m. Class fee $10. This is a good time to invite your tango virgin friends.

Florentino dances socially, teaches group classes, offers private lessons and performs throughout  the San Diego area.  His dancing has been featured in movies, documentaries, newspapers and television.
