An exciting week ahead.  Eduardo Saucedo,  master teacher and dancer from Buenos Aires, leads interesting workshops - Milonga, one of the most fun dances, and Pugliese, one of the most dramatic.  He is the person for private lessons - $100 an hour. At a milonga that evening Eduardo will D.J.; he is known to dance with everyone who was in the workshop.  

Saturday, Sept. 29,  Eduardo Saucedo teaches:  
2.30 p.m.  all levels  -1 1/4 hr. -  Milonga workshop
4 p.m.  intermediate - 1 1/4 hr.  - Pugliese-the Sensual Connection ..
$25 for one $40 for both (good value $20 if you take both)

We are invited to participate in this year's International Festival the next weekend: a short performance on the Gallo stage, then one on an outdoor stage. We will work on that Monday at Jacobs.  Do come.


MONDAY - Tonight,  Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Social dance and practica at Jacobs Fine Dining, 2501 McHenry - 7-9 p.m.  No fee, though you are encouraged to order food or drink from the menu.  Some come early for a meal.

WEDNESDAY - Sept. 26.  Beginner lesson at the Modesto Senior Center 211 Bodem. 2:30 p.m.  No fee.

Tango By The River, 128 J St,, Old Sacramento - 8-11 p.m.  Practilonga - combines the best of practica and milonga.  From 8 to 8:15 p.m, Kenny & Chooi's  "Tango Tip"  might range from refining technique in an embellishment, a step useful for navigating the floor, a stretch particularly good for dancers, etc. $5 entry.
