What's New

Bulletin, May 18, 2009

The Gallo Arts Center's Tango First Century weekend was a resounding success.  The post-show milonga was well attended; some of us danced with cast members.   Thursday is our Art Walk milonga at Concetta's, maybe your only chance to dance in Modesto for a week. No class on May 23, No practica at Jacobs on Memorial day, May 25.  So be there.

Then May 30 & 31 is our weekend with Diego & Negracha.  We who were in Buenos Aires last July kept running into them.  They surely are part of the tango scene there.  The Jacobs milonga is Saturday. Workshops will focus on milonga and vals.

MONDAY -Tonight,  May 18, Social dancing and practica at Jacobs, 8 p.m., 2501 McHenry Avenue. A good place to practice class material.  ALL levels encouraged.  No fee, but you're urged to buy food and/or drink.  Come early to eat.  No practica  Memorial Day, May 25.

Buy food or drink and dance in this casual intimate setting.  No fee.
