Modesto Tango Bulletin, Sept. 10, 2012

This Friday at the Gallo Center: Tango Del Cielo with free pre-show milonga.  The pre-show milonga begins at 6 p.m.. the show itself at 7 p.m.

After the show, food and a mini post-show milonga at Jacobs Fine Dining./ 2501 McHenry Ave. Some show dancers are expected to attend. 

Saturday, Sept. 15 - After class, we take part in the studio's grand opening. Our
15-minute time slot starts at 1 p.m.  

Saturday, Sept. 29 - Eduardo Saucedo, master teacher and dancer from Buenos Aires, will lead Modesto workshops at 2:30 and 4 p.m. People are signing up for private lessons.  There will be a milonga that evening.  $25 a class, $40 for both.

MONDAY - Tonight,  Sept. 10 and 17 - Social dance and practica at Jacobs Fine Dining, 2501 McHenry - 7-9 p.m.  No fee, though you are encouraged to order food or drink from the menu.  Some come early for a meal.

FRIDAY -  Sept. 14, Tango Del Cielo at the Gallo Center with pre-show and post-show milongas. Information in first paragraph.

SATURDAY - Sept. 15, Basics class at VBoogie's Dance Journey, 711 10th St.
11 a.m.-noon.  $10.  The studio's grand opening will follow at 1 p.m..

Tango By The River, 128 J St,, Old Sacramento - 8-11 p.m.  Practilonga - combines the best of practica and milonga.  From 8 to 8:15 p.m, Kenny & Chooi's  "Tango Tip"  might range from refining technique in an embellishment, a step useful for navigating the floor, a stretch particularly good for dancers, etc. $5 entry.
