Modesto Tango Bulletin, August 16, 2010

Even in Buenos Aires an opportunity for dining  and dancing  with live music is a rare treat.  Our October milonaga will be this year's premiere tango event.  The Mario Parmisano Trio from Buenos Aires tours throughout the world playing tango music with wonderful jazz musicians. Be sure to check out their videos.  Their most recent promotional video is our Video of the Week.

Don't miss tonight's practica at Jacobs.  It is a great opportunity to experience tango in an informal, friendly, and supportive setting.

CALENDAR FOR THE  WEEK
MONDAY - 7 p.m. Tonight, August 16,   Social dancing and practica at Jacobs Fine Dining, 2501 McHenry. Currently Modesto's only tango outlet. No fee, but you're encouraged to order food or drink off the menu. A good place to practice class material.  Come early to eat; check out a new menu for the "Blue Sage Bistro".

SATURDAY -  No class. Watch for announcements of classes resuming in fall.
