Bulletin Oct. 1, 2007

Buenos Aires, Argentina! If seeing tango's birthplace ever intrigued you, attend a short meeting at Jacobs tonight, Monday, Oct. 1, around 9:15 - after the workshop - to learn more. Gato is interested in putting together a tour for our group next June or July, Whether you do the workshop or not, come to learn what is possible.

The workshops have been well attended; you're encouraged to attend one or more. Classes are listed below. Our Video of the Week features Gato and Andrea in a recap of last week's lesson.Their last two sessions will focus on milonga. Classes start at 7:30, (a chance to eat early) and end at 9 p.m. (a chance to practice after class).

In our ongoing classes, Patrick will finish his rotation with a review of work done while with us. This Saturday is also an opportunity to pay $40 for the whole month. If you can commit to all 4 sessions it's a small savings over the normal $12 drop in rate.

Coming up: Nov. 6, Tango Buenos Aires at the new Gallo Center - a show we all want to catch, but also an opportunity to spread the word about Modesto Tango. We want volunteers at the doors as people leave, passing out cards advising the public of our existence. If able to help, contact me.
